Island in the Bay of Bengal, which is a debatable ground for many years between India and Bangladesh, sank below sea level. This March 24 reports Associated Press.

The disappearance of New Moore Island recorded oceanographers from the University of Jadavpur. Constant settlements on island never was. Earlier the island was above sea level  on two metres, and now has completely disappeared under water.

On the island, which sizes made 3,5 on 5 kilometres, India and Bangladesh claimed. In 1981 the Indian military men have established a national flag of India on deserted island.

The unnamed source AP in the Indian minister said that the disappearance of the island will not resolve the boundary dispute between India and Bangladesh.
